1) Licensed & Certified:
In most states it is crucial to have a tattoo license or work out of a licensed facility. Along with specific certifications given after proper training, having Blood Borne Pathogen training is a must! This ensures the artist understands and complies with safety and sanitary procedures.
2) Experience & Knowledge:
Knowledge of different skin types, depth of needle, as well as color theory are very important when it comes to cosmetic tattoos. Not every skin type is suitable for permanent makeup. Proper depth will ensure your permanent makeup will fade properly over time. Color theory is much more than selecting the correct color to match the brow hairs.
